Senior judgment, multiplied.
Loam is a founder-led software house in Bratislava. We pair twenty years of shipping software with AI agents, so a small team can build what used to take a large one.
Why Loam
Loam is the soil gardeners hope for: a balanced mix of sand, silt and clay that holds water without getting waterlogged and lets roots go deep. Nothing in it is exotic. It works because the proportions are right.
That's how we think about software teams. Product sense, design and engineering in the right balance, on top of a deep layer of experience. AI agents are the newest ingredient. They make everything grow faster, but only in good ground.
Michal has designed and built software for more than twenty years: storefronts for publishers, platforms for composers, clinical data systems, tools for the authorities and, more recently, a design system and accessibility practice for Slovakia's largest bookseller.
He works across the whole stack, from database design to Figma, and from PHP and TypeScript to Swift and SwiftUI. Loam is where that range meets AI: the workflow he uses to build and run six apps of his own is the one he brings to client projects.

How we work
-
People decide, agents execute
AI writes a lot of our code. A person with context reviews every change and owns every decision.
-
Ship real things
A working prototype beats a perfect plan. We get software into hands early and improve it from there.
-
Private by default
Our apps collect as little as possible and run AI on the device when they can. We bring the same instinct to client work.
-
Accessible by default
Keyboard, screen reader, contrast and zoom are part of done, not a later phase.

Where we're going
We're building Loam on two layers that feed each other. Client work keeps us close to real problems in e-commerce, publishing and product teams. Our own products let us test new technology, like on-device AI, in public, with real users and real App Store reviews.
The bet behind both is the same: a small, senior team working with AI agents can deliver software at a quality and pace that used to need a much larger organisation. We're growing a portfolio of focused, privacy-first products on that model, and a delivery practice that makes it available to clients.
We're open to startup programmes, pilot customers and partners who want to grow that with us. Get in touch.
